Tech Editing

I spent 10 years owning my own yarn shop where I custom wrote patterns for clients. I now currently teach knitting classes both on Zoom and in person.

Working with knitters in this fashion gives me a unique approach to tech editing. I’m able to work with the designer in a way that makes a pattern more than just grammatically and technically correct. The result is a more easily understood pattern that allows for zero question on interpretation as to the designers intention and fewer follow-up questions from the knitter.

I love the relationships I have with my designers. We are a team and enjoy a collaborative process where I am best able to assist the designer in showcasing their talents.
